We had the chance to get some photos of these two models of short barrel shotgun back to back. One is a Remington 870 the other is a Mossberg 500. Both of these short shotguns are registered NFA items, Short Barrel Shotguns (SBS). The Mossberg has ghost ring sights and a SpeedFeed stock (holds 4 extra shells). The Remington 870 has a Surefire 618 foregrip with light and IR filter, GGG single point sling mount, Mesa Tactical Shell Carrier and Hogue OverMolded stock with a short (12 inch) length of pull for tactical use with body armor or gear

This 12 gauge semi-auto and pump action combat shotgun was designed in the 1970s and was produced in the 1980s. This was cutting edge technology at the time. The concept was to run the SPAS-12 as a semi-auto, then switch to pump to clear any malfunctions. The pump action system is also the best way to shoot tear gas and less lethal ammunition
