Shooting Judge Public Defender

Mon Aug 3 2009
Our first time shooting the Taurus Judge Public Defender model, a shorter, more compact version of the standard Taurus Judge five shot .410 / .45 long colt revolver

We shot four rounds of 000 shot
These contain three .36 cal lead balls.

The results were a very large spread with a lot of the shot leaving the target or barely hitting

This shoot did not make the short barrel judge Public Defender look very impressive with 000 shot.

Would you like the small pictures to get larger?
Let us know, use the feedback form to request larger pictures.

It's a lot more work to load all the large pictures.
We are happy to do it if they are requested, but if not we leave them small to save time

Your shots are off of the paper because you are using the WRONG loads. Standard 410 shells where never designed to be fired from a two inch barrel. You need a load that is custom designed for a snubby. These rounds have a shot wad that covers the entire length of the shot. This keeps the shot inline and grouped tightly through the length of the barrel. If you're not a reloader, you can pick these rounds up from Federal. They have designed a load just for the judge. First get the RIGHT ammo, then your groups will improve.
